Working in conjunction with the late Stephen M. Kinney, as well as with other partners at his former company, Matthew Jason has managed data collection and analysis on more than one thousand research projects over a period of nearly sixteen years in the industry. Hundreds of thousands of total interviews have been completed under his supervision of these research projects. He has extensive qualifications in all realms of public opinion research, from qualitative methodologies such as focus groups, dial testing, and online discussion boards to quantitative methodologies such as mobile device surveys, online surveys, and traditional telephone surveys. From questionnaire design to survey quality control to final analysis and presentation, Jason is uniquely equipped to handle all of your research needs.
His corporate/public affairs research experience includes management of more than fifty national surveys, more than one hundred statewide surveys, and hundreds of local research projects in various cities, counties, and districts across California and beyond. In recent years, he has also been heavily involved with branding, image development, and program testing research projects for various corporate and multi-media clients such as Allstate Insurance, The Art Institutes, CNN, HLN, and Scripps Networks.
Jason also has a great deal of experience conducting research on behalf of heath care clients, having managed hospital and health care research projects on behalf of organizations as diverse as the Hospital Association of Southern California, Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield, the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC), Downey Regional Medical Center, and the Eastern Plumas Health Care District.
In regards to political research projects, Jason has managed projects in 46 of California's 80 Assembly Districts, 18 of California's 40 Senate Districts, and 29 of California's 53 Congressional Districts as well as in various city and county races across the State of California. He has also overseen research on behalf of various ballot initiative, proposition and referendum campaigns both statewide (most recently in 2010 in favor of Proposition 20 regarding redistricting in California) and locally (most recently in 2013 in opposition to Proposition A in Redondo Beach regarding a rezoning ordinance designed to force a power plant closure).
Jason has professional moderator training from the RIVA© Institute and has moderated dozens of focus groups regarding all types of political and public affairs issues. He also recently served as dial technician for numerous Perception Analyzer© Dial Groups conducted across the country in 2012 on behalf of various political action committees in their testing of advertising related to general election campaigns.
Jason is a 1998 graduate of Hillsdale College and currently resides in Long Beach, California with his wife and four children.
